There is brokenness around me, full of hearts that need to
be pulled back to the God that made them, and lives that need to be laid down. If I’ve
learned anything in my walk with Christ, it’s that He knows me better than I
do, and His word knows better than I do.
His ways are higher than mine, better than mine. His ways are holy.
So, then, why do we try to fight His way, His truth?
Our God is a God of love, but He is also to be feared. And, I’m not talking about feared in
reverence, I’m talking about feared as in He is a powerful God, and He is one
who will bring judgment. So, when we
think about knowingly disobeying His plans for our lives, we need to remember
that yes, He is a God of love, and understanding and peace, but He is also a
God that recognizes when we are intentionally set against Him, and can see when
we give into the ways of the world and the Enemy.
Do not be deceived, brothers and sisters, by what the world
says, or what people say.
In the end, all you need to worry about is what God will say,
because in the end, that’s all that matters.
“Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive
yourselves. Do what it says.” James 1:
22
In Christ,
Lilia
